About

It all started when...

the Drexel Squash team visited Yale and racked up on Kombucha at Gourmet Heaven--if you know you know. Still, the drink fell into our laps through our teammates and travel. The initial taste is a bit of a shock to some, still, we believe that there's a flavor out there for everyone. 

Considering the problems faced by members of our population which result from lack of access to proper diet, we believe that the SCOBY is symbolic of the community Kombucha culture needs to thrive.

The promotion of local Kombucha is essential to the burgeoning mainstream popularity of the niche beverage. Meanwhile, access to knowledge remains the barrier to entry for most as it is for most things. This initiative seeks to change that.
